About Elyse

Hello! I am a pediatric nurse and love working and caring for kids and do it in addition to my main job. I am able to communicate with all ages of kids and know how to navigate there emotions. I am able to cook and clean in addition to child care and would be willing to embark on fun activities that the kids are interested in. I like working with kids because they have so much energy and creativity. I love watching kids embrace their passions and continue to grow. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old and was considered the neighborhood babysitter. I have worked with children as young as 6 months and as old as 18 years old. My skills include communicating with kids at the appropriate level especially if they are expressing big feelings, listening and engaging in the activities they like to do, and to uphold rule that the parents give. I work overnight shift at my main job and would be willing to take evening and overnight shifts in addition to day shifts as well.
