Hello, I am interested in caring for your loved one, to make their life as comfortable and easy as possible allowing them to live in the comfort of their home and home settings, to keep their independence, daily routines, familiar surroundings and I know I can make a difference in their lives. I am a kind, calm, compassionate, and a very reliable person who enjoys caring for others. I have all of my credentials (CPR, TB, NC Registry, Continuing Education Courses as required by the state) up-to-date. I have worked 20+ years in most of the major hospitals, retirement facilities and in-home residencies, giving tender loving care. I retired last year after 32 years of service from a major University. I am a non-smoker, willing to take a drug test and back-ground check. I have a good driving record and excellent references available upon request. Please let me know if I may assist you. My availability is Mondays, Tuesdays. Elouise M. worked as a Coordinator for the Clinical Skills Center for our Medical Education Development Program (MED) during the summer. It is an intensive educational experience and challenging opportunity to gain insight into the realities of attending medical or dental school. The Medical Education Development (MED) Program was established in 1974 and is designed to increase opportunities in the health professions for individuals who demonstrate educational promise and commitment to a health career but who have lacked the opportunity in the past in moving toward their professional goals. The program offers a structured summer curriculum at the level of professional education to increase the ability of advanced pre-professional candidates, especially those who are disadvantaged, to compete successfully for admission to health professional schools. We tried to give the student participants a sample experience of the life of a medical/dental student in medical and dental education. The clinical skills center gives the students an overview of the various medical professions and how they work together to benefit patients. It introduces the students to the various equipment and facilities on use by health professionals in the medical field. I worked with Elouise to schedule the student's rotations through the center to ensure they had a full clinical experiences as part of our program. She was professional and reliable in getting things organized and in place for 80+ students each summer. In the years that I have worked and known Elouise, she has shown herself to be a very competent, dependable, and proficient colleague. She has the ability to learn the job responsibilities quickly and has carried out these duties in a very professional manner. Finally, and perhaps her greatest asset; her personality and ability to work well with the public. For these reasons, I would strongly recommend Elouise for any position where such attributes are required. If I can provide any additional information regarding Elouise, please do not hesitate to let me know. Georgia N.
