I specialize in working with kids who have Dyslexia and learning disabilities as well as providing instruction to all students with varying degrees of cognitive abilities in all core subjects. I have over 10 years experience working in public, private and charter school settings across the Kansas City metro area. I love witnessing the 'light bulb' moments in my students and working with parents to tailor the best education experience for their children. I am willing to come to your home and work with you and your family on finding a solution for alternative education! My hours are flexible and rates are negotiable. Ellyn has been a paraprofessional in my classroom for students with special needs over the past school year. She has done a fabulous job in this role. Her rapport with kids is great! She has an intuition that provides her with an understanding of what she can do to help them reach their best. Her bag of tricks to help them learn or be engaged in learning is well rounded. Ellyn would make a great caregiver to any child!
