I'd describe my personality as compassionate, goofy, and honest. I like caring for people with special needs because their uniqueness brings joy into the lives of those around them. I find that just playing a small part in each individual success story is an accomplishment itself. I began caring for people with special needs when I coached a gymnastics class for kids with disabilities. I loved the class so much that I decided to nanny similar children for the next 8 years. 2 years ago, I found a job working as a Behavior Tech with people that have varying challenges. One thing you should know about me is that I am neurodivergent. I think this helps me understand others with similar disabilities. My skills include flexibility, patience, and creativity. I can adapt quickly to novel situations while keeping a calm, light-hearted presence.
