About Elliot

I'd describe myself as amicable, driven, thoughtful I like tutoring because I benefited from tutoring programs throughout elementary and middle school. The help they provided me with was the reason I was able to succeed in high school, so now that I have the skills to help others I want to pass on the opportunity that I was blessed with. One thing you should know about me is I grew up with what is considered a learning disability, dyslexia. But, through tutoring of my own and a lot of hard work, I graduated in the top 10 of my high school class and even got accepted into the University of Maryland with a high merit scholarship. I know how to work with those who are considered low achieving and I know that they can still do well. My skills include a natural inclination towards math, strong skills in a lot of the basic sciences with a specialty in biology and chemistry, and a lot of knowledge about English grammar and writing rules.
