About Ellie

I am at my best when im caring for others. I've cared for a disabled gentleman for 10 years who was totally paralyzed and helped in the rehab to get him back mobile and independent. I have cared for a gentleman who had MSA Parkinson's for 9 months until his passing due to his illness. I cared for my own grandmother, who suffered from dementia for the last 2 yrs. of her life and cared for my baby sister the last 7 yrs of her life. I have experience in personal care and transferring from bed to chair, an cooking and hair dressing and gardening. I am easy to get along with and am told I have a way of making tough or embarrassing situations not so bad. I now attend online school for health care management where I'd like to one day open a private care home for the elderly cause I think there is a big need for better care for our seniors.
