About Ellen

I am a licensed English teacher for grades 5-12 and have been teaching English and Theater at an international school in China for the past five years. Before that, I taught Piano . I am First-Aide certified and have years of experience with nannying and babysitting. I'd describe my personality as calm, patient, adventurous Teaching is a rewarding career that allows me to see growth in students and build into their lives. I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue working with kids. I started tutoring piano when I was around 14 years old. In my spare time, I love to be outdoors, play board games, or bake! One thing you should know about me is that I deeply value building trust with the family. I want to work with a family that would truly consider me a good fit for their home. Some skills that I have include differentiating to meet the individual needs of the student, managing many kids at once, and lots of experience coaching writing and music.
