About Ellen

I have always connected well with older people, having grown up with a bedridden Polish "Bousha" and later my distinguished Grandpa Doc. And until the summer of 2024, I was an aide to my own parents who lived to age 97 and 99. I also spent a year as concierge at a senior community where I feel I really shined. I have a great appreciation for what family members go through seeking care for their loved ones. I don't promise perfection, but I promise caring, initative and willingness. I won't just sit and scroll on my phone -- if I have a question, I'll ask. I take notes. I can take constructive criticism. My gifts are empathy, humor and the ability to anticipate someone's needs. I have a secondary superpower and that is that I am "senior adjacent" myself at age 60+. I can talk World War II or the latest gossip on the British royals. If your Mom or Dad or YOU need a helpful pal with a car to get up and go, I got you!
