Hello, My name is Ellen. I have worked with helping people for almost six years. I am very patient, compassionate and caring, and I treat whomever I help as I would my family. Forming a bond, developing trust and encouraging a smile or laugh is very important to me. I have taken care of/been a companion to both male and female - mobile, wheel chair and bed bound. Companionship, personal hygiene (bathing, toilet needs), medication management, cooking, transportation and shopping are some of the things I do. Helping people and being good at it was something I discovered as older adult. I do have experience with Alzheimer's and Hospice Care. I am married, have three adult children in their twenties, currently have one dog, am retired military (USMC), am a non-smoker and live in Warminster.
