About Ellen

Hello!! I was born and raised in San Luis Obispo, and I am currently a third year at Cal Poly SLO pursuing a bachelors of science. I love the outdoors, cooking and baking, music, and fashion! I'd describe my personality as outgoing, bubbly, and observant I like working with kids because they are constantly entertaining and engaging, and I enjoy seeing them learn and grow into themselves and find their passions and skills. I started working with kids when I taught at the Tiny Tigers Preschool and all the classes I had to take to become a teacher there, so my background with childcare really revolved around learning how to care and incorporating education into childcare! In my spare time, I like to cook, go on hikes, listen to music and go for drives. My skills include being able to handle stress, having a dynamic and flexible attitude, and having a lot of patience and willingness to listen.
