I have an M. Ed. degree in exceptional education: specific learning disabilities. I have cared for and worked with students/children with developmental disabilities, Asperger's, ADHD, with and without hyperactivities and students diagnosed with epilepsy, OCD and other behavioral disorders. I have also worked with the legally blind. I have always had a soft spot and deep understanding working with kids with differences because of their quirky and interesting personalities and way of seeing the world and finding ways to make them feel able, not unable. They're much more interesting and fun to be around!
