Hi! My name is Ellen, I'm a 25-year-old looking for part time work this summer with the potential to move into more hours in the fall. I am interested in working with infants and children, including neurodivergent children who may require more support from a caregiver. I find genuine joy in working with children and supporting their development in a variety of circumstances. Experience/ education: I am an MSW candidate with a BA in psychology and sociology and I have over 10 years of experience working with children from newborn to school age. I have over 5 years of experience as a nanny/ occasional sitter and in an in home daycare. I worked in a Reggio Emilia based childcare center for 2 years. I also have two years of experience working as a special education assistant in an elementary school in Minneapolis. I am currently working as a mental health intern in an autism day treatment program that utilizes the Greenspan Floortime Approach.
