Hi! My name is Ellen and I am an experienced caregiver. I started my caregiving career in high school, when I took a CNA(Certified Nurse Assistant) course. From there, I worked in a memory care facility and on the med-surg floor in a hospital. Throughout my time at UC Davis, I worked as a personal assistant to someone with muscular dystrophy. I helped with her activities of daily living and completed light household chores. I also have experience with kids! I babysat throughout high school and community college. I can honestly say that the kids I cared for were really excited to see me whenever I came and the parents were pleased with the creativity and work ethic that I brought to the job. A little more about me - I am an experienced swimmer, and lifeguarded throughout college. In my free time, I like to take photos with film and digital cameras. I am a vegetarian, and I enjoy making healthy and delicious food!
