About Ella

I work for an education nonprofit at a Boston high school and have an extensive background in outdoor education. I teach early college material to high schoolers in subjects ranging from english to college algebra, to intro to psychology. I excel at teaching writing and helping students craft their voice in writing. I've had a lot experience mentoring neurodivergent kids, gifted kids, and LGBT kids. Regarding academic support, I enjoy building study skills, routines for academic success, and teaching subject matter from algebra to world history. Nurturing a passion for learning and self-confidence is super important to me too! Finally, it's important to me, as a LGBT person, that the families I work with value acceptance and justice.
