About Ella

Hi there! I'm Ella, a third year student at UC San Diego and I'm originally from Texas. I was a nanny for two young boys (ages 8 and 12) when I was a senior in high school, and I spent my entire last summer working an 8am-4 p.m. wakesurf camp with kids ranging from 7 to 15! I LOVED both of those jobs. I'm very passionate about working and bonding with children and I find joy in creating environments where they can have fun. I'd describe my personality as fun, outgoing, and funny. I like working with kids because I'm really still a kid at heart. I love making kids laugh and forming meaningful relationships with them as a leader and mentor. I started working with kids when I was 16! My first job was a camp counselor at a sleepaway camp in Texas called Camp Longhorn. There, I worked with and lived in a cabin with 11-year-old girls. In my spare time, I like to go on walks, go to the beach, paint, or hangout with my friends. My skills include punctuality, enthusiasm, and safety.
