In my role as a teacher I have worked with many children with mental and physical disabilities. I was also diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 22. I have discovered a passion for working with people who have disabilities as I have also had many hurdles to overcome in my personal life. I believe every person should be treated equally and given the same chance to succeed. Through advocacy I have helped many of my students gain access to more support and resources in and outside of the classroom.
