After studying Social Welfare and Interdisciplinary Studies at UC Berkeley, I started nannying, working in inpatient psychiatry, and now I currently work in public health research with SF DPH. My nearly decade of childcare experience ranges from working in the pottery studio at a summer camp for 5-14-year-olds in New York, to working with local families (from infants to tweens) both in New York and California. I love little ones! I learn so much through my interactions with children of all ages. I also have three years of facilitation experience in political education and personal empowerment work, six years of visual arts training, and two years of nonviolent communication (NVC) training. Ella has truly become a part of our family. Our son even calls her "Auntie Ella," which speaks volumes about the special bond they share. She is incredibly kind, caring, and loving, and it’s clear how much she genuinely enjoys spending time with him. Every time we tell our son that Ella is coming over, his face lights up with excitement. Beyond her wonderful care for our child, Ella has been an immense help around the house, always willing to assist with chores and keep things running smoothly. We feel so fortunate to have Ella in our lives and couldn’t imagine a better person to trust with our son and home. She’s truly a gem!
