About Ella

I have always loved working with children! Throughout high school, I devoted my time to working with kids in a number of ways. I have been babysitting since freshman year for families with kids ranging from 2 to 12 years old. I worked at an afterschool care program for three years in a preschool/ elementary school, as well, where I helped with homework, led and directed crafts and activities, played games, and lots of more fun things. Additionally, for the past three summers, I have been a lifeguard at Granite Pool, so I am CPR/AED and First Aid certified! I also taught swim lessons every weekend through the pool, so I would be more than happy to help with learning to swim if need be! I am currently a rising sophomore at Roanoke College, where I plan to major in Public Health on the pre-nursing track.
