Hi! My name is Eliza and I have a BA in English Literature from Dartmouth College and an MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby's Institute of Art. I have been babysitting for over 10 years for kids ranging from toddlers to high schoolers. I love working with kids and spent two summers in high school teaching middle school students through the Breakthrough Collaborative. I am an alum of Marlborough School, Carlthorp School, Village School, and Early Years Preschool. I also have extensive experience tutoring, pet-sitting, dog-walking, after-school driving, and home-sitting. I was previously Child & Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid Certified and have also been certified as a lifeguard. I was also previously a First Responder through the American Red Cross. I am very creative, organized, and patient. I would be happy to help out with errands, driving, and anything else your family may need!

Eliza is wonderful! She was the very first sitter we hired on Care, and the first non-family sitter my (then 5 year old) ever had. I'm a protective mom, and my daughter is very attached to me and was very shy and reluctant to be left with a sitter. Eliza won both me and my daughter over with her quiet confidence, maturity, intelligence, intuitiveness and kindness. Eliza is honest, trustworthy, creative, and really connected with my daughter. I'm SUPER picky about who cares for my daughter, and it says a lot that I would recommend her wholeheartedly. As a bonus, we've had a few other sitters since Eliza (who moved away), but she's the only one who left my house more tidy than she found it! We miss Eliza!
