I loved being lead teacher at an outdoor immersion nature school; I've also worked as a kindergarten teacher and a museum educator. I've taught art classes, led summer camps, and volunteered at an equestrian therapy center for children with disabilities. I love working with neurodiverse children; I am adept at tailoring my educational approach to accommodate varying needs and abilities. I also have professional experience working with animals, so I can help with pets! I create engaging activities that cater to children's interests and learning goals. I teach a wide range of art and craft skills, as well as cooking, gardening, literacy, life sciences, and environmental education. I do everything from making treasure maps and fossil digs, building fairy houses and bug habitats, to helping with homework and leading D&D sessions! If your child loves nature and creativity, we'll be a great fit!

I couldn't give a higher child-care recommendation regarding the qualification, character, and experience of Eliza. As her mother, I have observed her over these many years as she has babysat and educated the many children placed in her care. As I observed her many times in our home as she took diligent, loving, and thoughtful responsibility for her brother or niece, I was overwhelmed with her kindness, respect, and guidance she gave these young children. Eliza's loving nature provided a feeling of calm and trust in them. I was so impressed and touched with seeing her getting down on their level to look them kindly in the eyes as she cheerfully and clearly communicated with them her expectations and enthusiasm. Eliza's supervision and excitement in directing the children to interesting and engaging activities and projects were greatly appreciated, as well. Most importantly, I felt complete peace knowing the children were in safe hands while in her care.
