About Eliza

I have 12 years of teaching experience with a specialty in art and nature-based learning! I loved being lead teacher at an outdoor immersion nature school; I've also worked as a kindergarten teacher and a museum educator. I've taught art classes, led summer camps, and volunteered at an equestrian therapy center for children with disabilities. I love working with neurodiverse children; I am adept at tailoring my educational approach to accommodate varying needs and abilities. I also have professional experience working with animals, so I can help with pets! I create engaging activities that cater to children's interests and learning goals. I teach a wide range of art and craft skills, as well as cooking, gardening, literacy, life sciences, and environmental education. I do everything from making treasure maps and fossil digs, building fairy houses and bug habitats, to helping with homework and leading D&D sessions!
