I'd describe my personality as creative, warm, and friendly. I like tutoring because working with one individual child, you really get a chance to make huge strides. It is so rewarding to see the difference that our work makes, not just on their learning but on their confidence and demeanor. It really feels like I am making a huge difference. I'm looking for a job to supplement my teaching. I started tutoring when I was in graduate school, many years ago. In my spare time, I like to dance, spend time in nature, soak up every moment with my family. I am an avid reader and artist. One thing you should know about me is I believe my relationship with your child is one of the most important things for their success. I want them to know I believe in them and am invested in their success. My skills include reading, writing and math. I am excellent at breaking down concepts that are complicated for children into clear, concrete steps.
