Children are JOY! They light up my life and heart. After my own children fully empty nested, I realized it was the first time in my life, that I did not have them in my life. I worked with children, prior to having my own. I know the value of having someone you can trust with your children and find such purpose in caring for them. The early years are so critical in growth and development. Providing safety, love and boundaries are a must. That said FUN is high on my priority list. I'm energetic and love to play using imagination! I have a variety of experience, the most recent being a nanny for a family with a 1 and 3 yr old. My parents live locally and this gives me flexibility to assist my dad in caring for my mother who has Alzheimer's. I'd love to meet you and see if I might be a good fit for your family.
