My Grandmother, with who I was very close with was a special needs teacher. I always admired her patience and kindness and have always wanted to follow in her footsteps. The most experience I have pertaining to this type of care has been with my Grandpa, who had Alzheimer's, and family friends I would care for who had a couple of different disabling diseases. I realize that I do not have very much experience, but I am willing to get any qualifications needed. I have been in school for two years studying biology. The greatest assets that I have to offer are that I am very patient, not easily grossed out, am very hard-working, and would look forward to creating a good relationship with whoever I am caring for. I am willing to quit my full-time job and pursue something more fulfilling and be somewhere where I feel the compensation matches the work I put in.
