Hello there!Like many young girls of my time, I started babysitting at age 11. I worked three jobs in high school: daycare at First Lady Spa, I ran the after-school care program at my K-12 school for children from K-6th grade for 3 years, and I was a private nanny for an active family with three children for 5 years. Once I graduated from high school, I moved into legal work, but continued to babysit whenever I had the chance. My first child was born in 1995, and throughout my education I had two more. Now they are 22, 19, and 14. I miss babies!! One of the things I noticed when I had my first baby was that there seemed not to be much care or support for the mom. The focus was all on the baby. I believe the focus SHOULD be on the baby, but Mom needs care too. I have experience with sick children, autistic children, and children with genetic birth defects. I would love to help you ease back into the work-place, knowing your child is safe and loved.
