About Elizabeth

I love tutoring because I can help build a student's confidence one session at a time, brick by brick. And then suddenly, they're writing, or they're reading, or they're saying "wow I'm good at math!" Which is the coolest thing to see--someone building confidence in real time. I'm looking for a job that let me help and educate kids while allowing me to write my own curriculum. I started tutoring when I was in school. I needed some extra money and tutoring seemed like a good way to go about that. I didn't know I would love it so much!! My skills include Orton-gillingham, teaching writing to anyone no matter their ability, and being able to have a conversation about anything!
