I have 2 years of experience working with children as a Lead Teacher in a daycare; this includes working with children on the Autism spectrum. I also have 5 years experience being an HCA (Home Care Aid) and my license is still active. I mostly worked with adults who have disabilities (physical and mental). I worked a lot with a non ambulatory and non verbal cerebral palsy client which included G-Tube feeding. I do hold nurse delegate certification and diabetes nurse delegate certification. So I'm very comfortable with special needs. I've completed the 35 hour CCB training through the state of Washington. I've also taken 3 ECE Classes through Everett Community College: ECED& 107: Health, Safety, and Nutrition, ECED& 105 - Introduction to ECE, and ECED 120 - Practicum-Nurturing Relations. I now have one child of my own; he is about to be 6 months and has hearing loss. So I'm actively gaining experience in that area as well. If you have any questions please reach out!
