About Elizabeth

This August I will be entering my senior year at SUNY Geneseo as a childhood and special education major with a concentration in mathematics. Throughout my high school and college experience I have been able to babysit for many different families which has allowed me to care for children of all ages. In addition to babysitting experience, my major has enabled me to gain over 70 hours of experience in the classroom by teaching and observing. Throughout the school year I also volunteer at a local elementary school as a literacy tutor. Through this program I have been able to implement lesson plans to students each week. All of these experiences have showed me how much I love teaching and working with children. Each summer I usually at Friends Academy Summer Camp as a counselor. I was asked back to work there this summer, however due to the current pandemic, the camp has made the decision to remain closed. I am hoping to find a job where I can put my skills to use!
