I have diverse experience working across the lifespan from children to adults and with a variety of mental/physical conditions. I have worked as a paraprofessional in the school setting with special needs children. I also worked as an Applied Behavioral therapy assistant providing in home behavioral therapy services to children with autism. I personally have a family member on the spectrum too. Additionally, I have worked as a homecare aide for the elderly providing companionship and assistance with household tasks (laundry, dishes, mopping, dusting) etc. I currently work as a rehab therapist in skilled nursing facilities throughout the city serving the geriatric population in long term care, assisted living and memory care units.
