My full-time job enables seniors to live as independently and comfortably as possible. This has given me a skillset that I can use outside of my scheduled hours to help my community. I started caring for seniors in 2022 when I retired from customer service call center work after 20 years. A close relative was diagnosed with Parkinson's and I've decided to dedicate the rest of my working life to seniors, people with disabilities and their families. In my spare time, I like to read, write, and listen to music. I enjoy learning card and board games although I'm not very good! I enjoy walks on nice weather days. My skills include meal preparation, continence care, and medication reminders. I recently trained with a housekeeper in hospitality and can aide in household chores with a personal touch.
