I had the honor and privilege to be able to care for both my parents in their senior years. My mother had rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and dementia/Alzheimer's. My mom slipped into a diabetic coma for six weeks. When she awoke. She only had partial memory My mom she needed assistance with bathing. I would assist in dressing her. I would help her with toileting needs, I took her to doctor's appointment. Handled her medication and insulin injections. My Father had COPD arthritis,, heart disease and an autoimmune muscle disorder. He needed help with mobility assistance. When the time came to hospice my parents, my sister and I provided in-home care for both of them. Since moving to Albuquerque, I have the amazing honor of helping other families with care for their loved ones. Providing various care for people including hospice assistants. All of which have left a lasting impression in my life. I am reliable, honest, patient and love what I do.
