I've loved animals of all kinds since I was a little girl. We always had dogs and cats growing up. My boyfriend and I currently have a crazy English Bulldog that we rescued from South Florida and a stray tiger cat that we tamed and took in. Over the years I've taken care of many pets, in my home and in theirs. I have an AA and AS degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. I have previously worked at Halifax Hospital for 15 years. I am between jobs now and I'm looking for a more flexible schedule and also something more personally rewarding. Previously, I have cared for my grandmother who had a history of dementia. I have also assisted an end-stage cancer/hospice patient. I absolutely love caring for people (and animals) of all ages! I have professional experience working with all ages, intellects and abilities. References available upon request.
