About Elizabeth

Hi! My name is Elly and I graduated from George Washington High School, with my IB diploma, in 2023. I am currently taking a gap year, but I hope to attend a service academy in the next year. During my gap year, I am raising a puppy with Guide Dogs for the Blind, named Eggnog, and I love to read and play violin. I've been riding horses for 10 years and even have two of my own, named King and Speedy. I am a member Civil Air Patrol and was recently award Colorado Wing Cadet Commander of the Year. I worked at the Tiny Farm at Kent Denver the last 2 summers and plan on returning this summer. At the Tiny Farm I worked with kids ages 7 - 11 and instructed in miniature horse and goat lessons. I also worked as a camp counselor at Balance In Training, a horse training and lessons facility. NOTE: For jobs longer than 3 hours, Eggnog will need to tag along. He is a 6-month-old yellow lab and he is learning to be a gentleman. He has great house manners and does very well with kids of all ages.
