About Elizabeth

Hi, I'm Ellie! I am an honest, thoughtful, and creative person that cares deeply about the projects and people I spend my time and effort on. As the child of a single mother, I have a lot of experience with childcare, from both sides of the job. My professional experience began in high school when I became the designated date-night sitter for the neighborhood, caring for infants, toddlers, and older children. Although brief, I spent my time in college working at a local preschool while taking child health and development courses with a focus on the ages from birth to 5 years. I then began working as a nanny the next year and became CPR/First Aid certified. In January, I completed a 20hr Newborn Care Specialist workshop and will continue to grow my skill set! I've been nannying for 6 years and have enjoyed learning and growing along with the kids I've had the pleasure of caring for!
