About Elizabeth

I currently live near downtown Cary, and care for my cat, Monty, and my partner's various reptiles! Beyond cats, dogs, and small mammals, I have experience caring for red footed tortoises, leopard/gargoyle/crested geckos, blue tongue skinks, uromastyx, bearded dragons, chameleons, and carpet python/corn snakes. While some 13-year-olds had lemonade stands, I established a dog walking service in my neighborhood! I would go on to gain professional work experience caring for dogs at a boutique boarding hotel; as shift lead, I was responsible for administering medication as prescribed, socializing the dogs, and building maintenance. I also have volunteer experience with the Animal Care League (Oak Park, IL) and Underdog Ranch (Raleigh, NC). The most rewarding experience I've had myself was rescuing two neglected puppies, and fostering them in my home for a month before finding them forever homes.
