About Elizabeth

I am currently employed as a special education teacher for county public schools. I have taught special education students in a self-contained K-1st and 2nd -3rd grade classroom and in a resource setting form middle and high school. I can plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students based on the AKS curriculum and common core standards as well as provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of children. I am able to teach grade level curriculum while differentiating and incorporating sensory activities to meet the individual needs of the student. I am able to interpret and implement goals and objectives pertaining to academics in IEP s, re-evaluations, and BIP s. I utilize technology effectively to plan, teach, and assess students.
