Hi, I live in the Katonah, NY. area and have been a personal assistant as well as serving as a companion/aide for handicapped, developmentally disabled children/adults, elderly, as well as individuals recovering from major surgeries and long-term illnesses. I am experienced assisting with daily living skills, shopping, meal preparation, errands, appointments, light house work, and organizing, as well as there to listen and provide good conversation. Having grown-up with two severely handicapped sisters, empathy, patience, and an up-beat nurturing personality, along with a lively sense of humor have always been essential!
