At college, I minored in Exceptional Education so I have taken classes that focus on specific areas of special needs, such as autism, intellectual disabilities, classroom management, etc. As having that as my minor, I have also volunteered at an adult workshop that helps adults with intellectual disabilities. I also volunteered at the special olympics in high school. For the past couple years, I have babysat a child with autism.
