About Elizabeth

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, caring, and committed. I like tutoring because I am a continual learner myself who loves helping students strive their best to succeed and helping open students' minds to learning. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding. I started tutoring when I became a mother; I became fascinated with teaching diverse learners as each child is uniquely different. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my daughter, my grandchildren, and my puppy; I like to read, write, draw, paint, eat, and explore. A few things you should know about me are: I have been a certified educator and/or tutor since 1998 at various levels, subjects, & settings; I have worked with families to provide home care and childcare, and pet care; & I have spent time caring for the elderly in hospitals & nursing homes. My skills include teaching, any subject, caring for children, and caring for loved ones.
