I like caring for seniors because I believe people should be cared for with dignity, respect, kindness and patience, the way that I would want to be cared for when I am unable to do things for myself. I started caring for seniors 2 yrs ago when my mother began showing signs of dementia. She also needed assistance with mobility and was a fall risk and needed round the clock care. I helped her with bathing, housework, cooking, shopping and took her to her appointments but most of all I wanted her to be happy and feel loved. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog, bake and garden.
