My name is Liz and I am passionate educator. I credit myself on being extremely patient with high needs students and creatively adapting curriculum to meet their needs I am looking to assist students who may be struggling remote learning or missing the benefits of interpersonal instruction. I specialize in Middle School Content areas and also have an undergraduate degree in Journalism. I currently tutor a friend's fourth grade child and can provide a reference if desired. In my spare time I work closely with a national nonprofit, Educators for Excellence in order to advocate for equity in education. Fantastic Provider! Liz has worked with my son on a weekly basis for several months. She is punctual, dependable, and flexible. My 9 year old son adores her and looks forward to his weekly sessions with Liz. I initially decided to find a tutor for my son due to his lack of enthusiasm for virtual school. Over the past year, he has developed anxiety, and his attention span for online learning has all but vanished. Liz listened to my concerns and developed a plan to help my son enjoy learning again. I am truly grateful for the progress they have made. Notably, Liz is adept at identifying areas where my son would benefit from her support. She tailored a program to target areas in a deliberate and engaging way. She also took my feedback during the lessons in order to get the most out of the time we have. She is truly interested in seeing my child succeed. I will be working with Liz on a regular basis and highly recommend her as a provider.
