I have been in the early childhood education and development field as a parent educator, an infant and toddler caregiver, and an infant and toddler sleep consultant for over 30 years. I love spending time with infants and toddlers and love talking with parents about parenting! If you are looking for a kind, gentle, experienced caregiver to spend time with your little one, let's see if we might be a good fit to work together. I have a degree in early childhood education and development and have been trained in postpartum care, infant and toddler care, breastfeeding support, nutrition, and childbirth education. I currently teach newborn care classes at Yale New Haven Health and have a private practice offering infant and toddler sleep consultations to families all over the country. I have three grown children and two grandkids. I'm comfortable around pets, and happy to help with household tasks.

To say Elizabeth is amazing is an understatement. We moved with our 6-month old from another state when we first met. I was beyond frazzled trying to figure out life in a new area as a new mom. Meeting her was the best thing to come out of our early days. Elizabeth was always professional, communicative, and knowledgeable about infant care. She is the kind of person who gets the floor to model crawling with our son, prioritizes taking him outside every day even if the weather isn’t ideal, and helps us with meal prepping (by making her famous Lizzie cake) or other odds and ends around the house. I am especially grateful for her insight and collaboration with respect to improving our son’s sleep, which was our biggest challenge when we met. When people ask about the woman who watches our son, I always describe her as a friend, maternal figure, and nanny all wrapped into one. I appreciated her ability to offer suggestions in a nonjudgemental way (so important and yet rare for new moms!) and to just be a listening ear when I was anxious about some parenting decision. My husband even calls her “Mary Poppins.” I credit her with mentoring me in a big way on how to be a mom. She has given so much to our family. We are all extremely grateful and understandably sad to lose her to her upcoming move.
