Hi Care. com Community! I'm a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) who has worked with seniors in need of short and long-term care for ~8 years - three of those years were spent working with individuals who have dementia. I'm taking a break from the 24/7 world of skilled nursing management to help somebody manage their day-to-day in a person-centered and compassionate way that aligns with their wants and needs. I'm looking to partner with somebody who primarily needs companion care, transportation, meal prep/cooking, light cleaning, laundry etc., but may be able to assist with more clinical ADL care (med management, feeding) on a person-to-person basis. Prior to working as a LNHA I've worked as a paralegal and most recently had a teaching stint in Thailand. I'm active, enjoy the outdoors, and crafty pursuits. I think socializing and engaging with the world is hugely important to improving/maintaining quality-of-life. Look forward to talking with you!
