I currently work in an elementary school as an aide with special needs students. I have worked in this setting for four years and I have worked with a wide range of disabilities and special needs. I have worked as a one on one with a child with cerebral palsy, as well as in a special day class. I currently work in a classroom with emotionally disturbed students. I am CPR certified, first aid trained, and also trained in nonviolent crisis intervention. I am also currently in school to become a special education teacher.
