I have been working with children with a wide variety of special needs for the past three years during clinical internships as I earned a bachelors and masters degree in speech language pathology. I have experience working with children diagnosed with Down syndrome, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, Chromosome Deletions, Extreme Prematurity, Congenital Heart Defects, and Cerebral Palsy. I love working with these children and watching them grow. I have experience working with children who have feeding difficulties, sensory problems as well as communication disorders and developmental delays. I also have paid experience working in child care centers during breaks from college. Most of my experience has been gained working with children under the age of three, but I love working with children of all ages. I am energetic, organized and responsible. I love spending time outside and aim to keep children safe at all times while fostering development and learning.
