I have been working in childcare through Care. Com since 2013. I am considering making the transition into senior care. Three years ago my father died due to congestion heart failure. I remember wishing we could find someone to help us care for him that would treat my father with care and attention like he was family. As I am getting older I find that it a bit more difficult to chase after toddlers. Aside from managing a small office for a local children's book distributor for 13 years, I have always been in some sort of caregiver role, whether working with animals or humans. After high school I earned a diploma in Medical Assisting I have worked in veterinary practices and pediatric practices.
