I volunteer in our local school district and have all background checks in hand, available at your request. I was a special education teacher for 8 years before adopting and choosing to stay home with my children. My classroom experience includes elementary and middle school. I am willing to provide services in your home or in my home in Mechanicsburg. My 5 children are ages 17, 15, 14, 14 and 10. The oldest daughter is nonverbal with Autism and the youngest has a traumatic brain injury. My husband is also a teacher in Palmyra. I love children of all ages and working with the elderly. I enjoy building relationships with others and hearing their stories. For about 3 years I ran an in home daycare while my children were young. I have also provided care for multiple homebound seniors. Helping to run errands, dress and shower, cook, clean, or whatever else they may have needed. Please reach out with any questions.
