Hi! My name is Elizabeth. I am a National Board Certified Teacher with current Florida and North Carolina teaching certificates and 25+ years of classroom teaching and tutoring experience. My approach to tutoring is holistic. I believe in setting a firm foundation for life-long learning, and I help all my students set a course for success in school and in life. My learning services include: organization & time management, effective study, and homework completion. I tutor most grades and subjects, students who need enrichment & remediation, keyboarding, and effective use of technology. I also tutor future college students (SAT & ACT), teachers (FTCE), and adults (GED). We can meet remotely, at your home, a library, or a nearby bookstore. I am available year-round. I can't say enough remarkable words when it comes to Miss C. We live in Michigan and M. has been tutoring with her since October 2020. Miss C. would meet with her along with contacting her school teachers and being able to log into her google classroom and monitor her daily work and assignments. During this period I had lost my parents and was working several hours as a nurse during this Pandemic. We are so thankful for Miss C. for ALL the help with keeping M. organized and on par with classes. Miss C. is our Guardian Angel who will help M. thru High School also..
