My name is Elizabeth and I am from Bloomfield Hills, MI. I attend Northwood University in Midland, MI. I have a passion for working with children and I am blessed to have had the opportunity to care for such a wide variety of individuals. In high school, I was privileged to work with children as well as young adults who had specific special needs. I was a peer mentor for three boys (ages 9-17), all of whom were Autistic. It was and still to this day, is the most rewarding experience I have yet to discover. Most people view it as care givers making a difference in lives, but I see it differently. Every child I have worked with has taught me valuable lessons. I am more kind, loving, patient, understanding, and trustworthy than I ever was, all because of the children who walked into my life.
