I am a certified art teacher with 10 years of experience teaching students with special needs in the Euclid and Orange School Districts. I have one year of experience as a teaching assistant in a 2nd-5th grade special needs classroom. I specifically worked with autistic children. During college I was employed at a summer camp, specifically working with a child who was confined to a wheelchair due to Cerebral Palsy. I am extremely patient with children who have special needs and have a passion to work with them. My artistic/creative background lends itself to motivating students who struggle with basic learning skills. I am also extremely energetic and love to put smiles on childrens' faces.
