Hi there! In September I finished my Master's degree in counseling and have just recently moved to Sonoma county. I am currently looking for internships working with youth, but meanwhile I am searching for child care opportunities. I have over 15 years of paid child care experience, with children of various ages (infant to adolescent) and backgrounds, including special needs. Here is a brief summary: I began babysitting when I was 12 years old. Since then, I been a swim lesson instructor, a part-time to full-time nanny for several families, and a behavioral therapist as well as a classroom special education aide for children with autism. I have worked at a backpacking summer camp in several different capacities, including camp counselor, ropes course facilitator, and director. I have cared for children with developmental and physical disabilities, including Downs syndrome, Autism spectrum, and cerebral palsy. I am first aid and CPR certified, am very familiar with child development and attachment theory.
